Feeling it Friday!
I don't know about you but every day of the week has a different feel. Friday's for me always have a feeling of anticipation. Looking forward to the weekend where Saturday holds nothing that I have to do, well usually, and Sunday some things that I get to do; worship God with His people!
There is something special about Friday at 5 when I pack up, clock out and head home, knowing that I get to be home all weekend! There truly is no place like home!

Soft Shell Crab Season!
They're here..........and don't blink as they will be gone soon. My hard working husband works around the clock from pulling crab traps in the river to removing them from the crab tanks at just the right time.
This is a link explaining what happens biologically :

Of course we just eat em and enjoy them.Basically the process they go through is out with the old shell, in with the new. They become
new creatures; all the old stuff is left behind, the shell, everything.
The neat thing is that when you become a Christian the same thing happens. When you trust in the death of Christ, that He willingly died on the cross for your sin, and proved He was God by raising to life from the grave, you become a new creature. And how soft crab season, right here at Easter, reminds us of that.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature;
the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Tired of the same old same old? Need a new shell? Christ promises that when we follow Him it won't be easy; but it will be rewarding.
